I have always like to put these over an apartment or rental house stove to make a kitchen look neater and cleaner. Helps cover any burned drip pans and rings, puts a messy look out of sight. Keeps crumbs out of drip pans and provides solid surface to set things on. Practical for everyday use if you do not use all burners often. I wish they offered 3 small + 1 large set.

Detraction: if you mistakenly turn burner on with a cover on it the cover will be ruined very fast, it will burn black and smoke! Also, the edges always eventually rust from exposure to spills, and cleaning up. Wish they were made of something that would not rust. Keep them dry.

These do what they say they will do, which is cover your burners. In my case all of my burners are the same size and since this set of covers has two different sizes of burner covers included I had to buy 2 sets of them to obtain four of the correct sized covers (which left me with four useless smaller covers). So, that was rather annoying.

Aside from that, these covers seem to be pretty flimsy and for some reason their mere presence on my stove makes me feel like I am in my grandma's kitchen because I honestly don't know many people without grey hair that still use burner covers like this. For one thing, they are only functional to cover your burners and they barely do that well as they knock off and clatter to the ground if you bump them at all.

I wound up only using these covers for a short time and then found and ordered a product that was a cover for my entire stovetop so that I could use the stove top as extra counter space to prepare food in my small apartment. Anyhow, since the covers function as intended I will give them three stars, but since the are flimsy and knock off of the burners very easily, I am not rating them higher. Honestly, this product reminds me of something that is good in theory but it may be worth it to ask yourself before buying them how often that you are actually going to get them out and use them to cover your burners? The answer is probably only when guests are over, right? But usually when guests are over you are using your stove to cook your guests dinner or appetizers, so you can't use these covers on the stove when guests are over anyway. Which leads me to the conclusion that many people will probably rarely use these burner covers at all. So, I say, save your money and live with your exposed ugly burners showing or get a cover for your entire stovetop instead which at least provides the functionality of additional counter space for food preparation.

I purchased these as a gift for my Mom since she is remodeling her kitchen and I wasn't impressed with how they shipped and came out of the box. They were not wrapped well so the burners banged against other things in the box and chipped them a little in places. If I wasn't giving them to her the minute I got them, I would probably have returned them since they were chipped. I only bought them because I couldn't find any around here for some reason and I got free shipping since I ordered other things. Otherwise, I probably would not have purchased them. They serve the purpose since I put country star decals on them and covered up some of the chips, but when you pay for something, it shouldn't come chipped.

A lot of folks complain about these, but I think they are just fine. Do they seem exceptionally durable, no,
but as something to cover burners and neaten up a kitchen they work just fine. If I thew one on the floor it might
get a dent, but why would I? For the price they do what I wanted them to do and I didn't find much else on the market.

One of them arrived dented and I was disappointed when they rusted after the first wash. This is common on all rolled edge steel ovenware but I had hoped this item wouldn't because of its aesthetic intended use. I was also a bit surprised by the finish as it is textured but as it turns out its a great feature. It hides smudges, spatter and fingerprints.

These covers do not lay flat over the burners. They were very ill-fitting and looked very cheap! Would not recommend anyone purchasing this item. It is a waste of money!

Very lightweight - so much so that one arrived already dented from shipping. I only planned to use two, and besides I can see that they will quickly be dented from ordinary use, so I didn't send them back. They clearly would melt in about a second if you accidentally turned on the burner under them. For the price, they are OK.

These burner covers add appearance to the top of the electric range and clean up nicely. Careful when using the range not to do as I did and turn on the wrong burner and scorch the painted surface of the burner cover. Sound familiar? I wonder how many others have made this same mistake..LOL.
