This product serves its purpose but does not meet my expectations of quality and ease of use. The lower part where the cord comes in is about the exact size of a thick extension cord, not suitable for hanging lamp cables of any type or any medium to small diameter cable. It is able to be trimmed to adjust to larger diameter cable. The top part has two tabs on the sides, not visible in the image, that are not small, but the plastic housing is tough and makes it very difficult to pry the end off without some minimal damage to connect the wires. The metal prongs are very thin compared to standard plugs from factory as well.
Overall I would buy this again if I had to build a very cheap extension cord that only needed to be plugged in once and never touched again, and not be grounded either. Otherwise I would opt for a better product.

I use these for everything, from lamps to radios to fans, kitchen appliances, etc. Been using them for about 20-plus years (since I was a teenager). They're easy to open - just pop off the front cover with a screwdriver, wire it up and snap it closed. I just wish that Leviton would also sell the white version in the USA (only sold in Canada at Canadian Tire for some reason).

More junk from the land of NAFTA. The molded plastic cover is ridiculously hard to pry off. You have choices for replacement plugs: don't buy this one.
