(Mine = Jeep TJ) Physically these door hinges are sturdy, strong and stable. But here is some input that may help other buyers. They are a flat satin black, NOT the gloss black factory standard glossy=minus one star. They ship with round headed mounting screws instead of the tapered flat head factory screws. No problem if you don't have mirrors on your doors, but if you want to install mirrors it will be necessary to drill out the mirror gasket to make room for the new protruding screw heads otherwise the mirror base will likely crack and break as you try to tighten them down. Thus minus 1 star. Also the hinge post are threaded a different size. Factory (superior) nuts wont fit.

I don’t typically write reviews but I feel in this case it is necessary to help out anyone else who happens to order these items. I ordered Rugged Ridge 11209.02 Black Windshield Hinge, Rugged Ridge 11202.03 Black Lower Door Hinge - Pair, Rugged Ridge 11202.01 Black Door Hinge Kit and Rugged Ridge 11202.07 Brass Hinge Bushing Insert. I will be copying this review to each as each part is integral to the story here.
First, the windshield hinges come with bushings but the lower door hinges don’t. This isn’t stated anywhere I found and the bushings come as a set of 4 so you will have 2 extra.
Next, the bushings don’t fit inside the lower door hinges. I contacted Rugged Ridge and they say they should. I drilled out the inside of the hinge opening with a 7/16 drill bit and they fit fine after that. That leads to the next problem.
The pins on the door hinges don’t fit inside the bushings. Again, Rugged Ridge says they should but they don’t. The issue was the powder coating on the pin. I tried using high quality paint stripper that was stated online would work on powder coating but it really had no effect. Since it was just the pin that was the issue we sanded some off and that worked easily.Read more ›

Bolts provided didn't thread into OEM flat nut so I had to use the OEM tapered bolts. These are not tapered so the bolts aren't flush. Their brass sleeves had to be hammered onto these and are loose in the OEM hinge.

Out of all products I have ever bought this is one of the worse. The metal is weak and bolts are even worse. I have used a lot of Rugged ridge products and was shocked at these. I have there logo on my vehicles and will continue to endorse them but cannot believe that this item is in there inventory.

Not quite as heavy as the OEM hinges. The bolts are a little softer than they should be. I recommend going to the hardware store to get harder replacements. But they look great and they do fit quite well.

These definitely enhanced the look of my Jeep and were very easy to install. They aren't quite as thick as the stock hinges, but i don't see that being a problem. It's not like this need to be made out of reinforced steel because they'll take a beating offroading, it's just a door hinge. Very happy with them.
