This is the one and only best way to hang something from the ceiling. So many difficult things out there. This is sooo easy. Drill a hole in the ceiling big enough for the "flapper" to fit through closed. Attach the "flapper" to the screw and the screw to the hook. Insert flapper end first into the hole. Pull gently while screwing the hook up towards the ceiling and the flapper opens up inside and you can hang heavy things. Wonderful!

Looks great with my white ceiling. Used for a hanging seashell that weighs roughly 20lbs. My walls are plaster-not hollow like drywall so I could not use the wall anchor hook but instead drilled an 1/8" hole with drill bit and simply screwed this in. The quality is solid. Amazon, don't jack up prices based on review!!!

Very easy to install and strong for what I need. I used this hook to hang my aquarium led light over my tank. Not only does it hold it very well, it doesn't look that bad either. The white nice hook blends in with our modern looking living room and kitchen. Oh and it's holding only through dry wall so I'm pretty happy about that.

Used these to hold some paracord to suspend a bar over a fishtank to hold LED lights for a cheaper and brighter alternative to expensive aquarium lighting. These worked well and were easy to install. be sure you have a large enough drill bit to get it in the wall though.
