A mechanic told me I need to change my brake fluid in the brake reservoir because it was dirty. He wanted one hundred dollars to do the job. Yikes! I assumed he was lying since most mechanics try to get you to do more repairs on your vehicle. My vehicle is 15 years old and has never had the brake fluid changed before. I did some research on when and why you change brake fluid and I checked on youtube on how to change the fluid. Seemed pretty easy (and I'm a girl) so my friend and I did it ourselves (2 person job). I purchased 9 bottles of this 12 ounce bottle of brake fluid here on Amazon. I wanted to do my other vehicle (Bronco II) too, which is almost 30 years old and has never had the brake fluid changed either. My bad! I ended up purchasing 6 more bottles of this 12 ounce brake fluid 7 days later. Why? Because they were only 2 dollars for each bottle here on Amazon. Each vehicle used up between 3 and 4 bottles and we're going to do 2 more vehicles. That's a savings of four hundred dollars. There was a definite change in the feel of the brake pedal after changing the fluid. Especially in the 30 year old Bronco II. Glad I changed the fluid. The fluid color went from a darkish green color to clear. WOOT, WOOT!!

Product performs as expected. No problems with the braking system since I replaced the master cylinder and used this brake fluid to bled and refill the reservoir. I would recommend this product. This is just a small bottle. Same price as Meijer.

Seems fine, I keep a bottle around in case any of my vehicles need it. They say not to keep it after opening it due to moisture concerns, but I've kept brake fluid capped (after using some) and in a steel cabinet in my garage for years and never had any issues using it to top off the brake fluid when needed.
