I was looking for something to replace my gull-wing drying rack that didn't take up floor space. These fit the bill perfectly for my need. They can easily support a pair or two of wet jeans or 6 wet shirts. I ended up mounting 3 of these units on the wall behind my washer and dryer. My only criticism of the racks is the included mounting hardware and the lack of a template for mounting the brackets. I would recommend getting some more robust sheetrock anchors and aiming for a stud when possible. Install was also complicated by having to mount hanging brackets that the dryers then slide onto. The brackets screw holes are covered by the dryers when in place so you have to get a little creative with deciding exactly where to place the screws for the brackets.

I'm pleased to say that this is pretty much what I expected, based on the description, the answered questions above, and the reviews of those who purchased this before me. Our small laundry room also doubles as the entrance from the garage into the house, so space efficiency is important. I took some measurements and saw that I could install one of these above the chest freezer that occupies the nook opposite the washer and dryer, and as you can see from the pic it fits pretty well ... in fact, if it holds up well, I may buy a second unit to install directly above the first to double the available space.
As I noted in the title, installation was very easy ... drywall anchors and screws (and a complete second set of mounts, in case you want to move the unit between two locations) are included ... but you'll need to go with common sense and some measurements to complete the installation because the instructions don't provide all of the details that one would normally expect.
For example, they don't tell you the spacing for the mounts, and measuring it accurately directly from the unit is not easy because the base plates are not parallel to each other when uninstalled ... I used 21-15/16" (center to center), which worked fine. Also, they don't specify the optimal drill size for the anchors ... I used 3/16" and tapped the anchors flush with a small hammer.
Once the unit is installed, it operates quite smoothly, but it is certainly not heavy-duty enough to hold up to any abuse. I'll update the review with any significant experience that we have.

The accordion frame is plastic. The anchors are only at the top of the bracket so the bottom can move up and down which is annoying. IMHO, it's overprice.

I was about to order a foldable free-standing clothes drying rack and am so glad I found this one instead! This wall-mounted accordion rack saves so much space. Installation was very easy. All it takes to install is 4 screws--took me 10 minutes. I installed it right in my closet so that when the clothes dry I can easily fold or hang them up right away. If you're looking for a clothes drying rack, I definitely recommend this one!
