Different models of HDMI cable from different manufacturers have different maximum usable lengths. Depending on the cable, maximum lengths range from 5m to 20m. The AQ HDMI Extender does not change how long an HDMI cable will work properly. It does allow a second HDMI cable to carry the HDMI signal farther than is possible with a single cable.
