This product generally produces bowel movement in 1/2 to 6 hours. As a antacid: To relieve acid indigestion, sour stomach and heartburn.INGREDIENTS: Active Ingredients:Per Teaspoon (5 mL): Magnesium Hydroxide 400 mg. Inactive Ingredients:Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium; Citric Acid; D&C Red #28; Flavor; Glycerin; Microcrystalline Cellulose; Purified Water; Sodium Citrate; Sodium Hyprochlorite; Sucrose; Xanthan Gum.SUGGESTED USE: Shake well before using. FOR LAXATIVE USE: Adults/Children 12 years and older: 2-4 tablespoonsful (TBSP) at bedtime or upon arising, followed by a full glass (8 oz.) of liquid. Children: DO NOT USE DOSAGE CUP. Children 6-11 years: 1-2 tablespoonsful, followed by a full glass (8 oz.) of liquid. 2-5 years: 1-3 teaspoonsful, followed by a full glass (8 oz.) of liquid. Under 2 years: Consult a doctor. FOR ANTACID USE: DO NOT USE DOSAGE CUP.
