I'm a nurse and since I started wearing these during my 12hr shifts its been remarkable how much better I feel! No more insane fatigue and aching in my legs. I don't have varicose veins that I can see, but my job and genetics both spell disaster for me on the vein front. Its made a huge difference for me energy wise at work and once I get home after a long day at work. The pressure 30-40mmHg sounds like a lot, but it is quite comfortable. Just make sure to put these on FIRST thing in the morning or else you might have a hard time getting them on. :) Anyway, buy these, your legs will thank you. I will definitely be buying this product again!

Unfortunately I'm supposed to wear these for venous insufficiency in my legs. These do the trick, as long as they ARE STAYING UP. IMO I made a VERY EXPENSIVE MISTAKE! They always slide down :(

TIP to help YOU AVOID THIS PROBLEM:
Purchase the ones with the silicone dots or silicone lace band - Do not purchase these. God bless :)

I've tried to buy cheaper brands, and they have not worked, so I'm back to these. I had an MRSA infection which left me with venous insufficiency in one leg. I just love this brand, and the open toe. I hate the pinching of the closed toes- and with my size 11 feet, it's also hard to get a good fit with a toe. I wash these by hand, and they last forever, I find I have to pull them up, especially when they get older, and I do get a crease on the top of the ankle- and I have to pull them up to get rid of that, but that happens with any brand, and it seems to happen less with these. Make sure you've manicured your nails (and keep them short) when you pull on these stockings, so you don't get holes in them. I wear a sock on top of them- and wear them with running shoes. All in all, if you need a firm compression stocking- this is a great brand to try.

Don't know how you can love any socks but it does deserve the highest rating.

Generally I buy these locally but they didn't have this size I needed. I've used this product for years and it's very helpful. I get the open toed socks because closed toe make my toe nails hurt from the pressure on them.

If you have lymph edema or have tired feet from so much standing, you probably need these.

Modifying my review since the SELLER seems less than responsive to similar problems by the consumers. A family member purchased me several pairs as a gift. Two pairs of those support stockings developed holes in the toes from what can only be attributed to a manufacturing defect. The SELLER doesn't appear to be reaching out to the buyers of these products or going to his/her supplier to find a remedy in the consumers' favor, which must include a replacement or full refund. The SELLER appears to have ignored consumer reviews on Amazon to push things past the return date within the guidelines. This is not acting in good faith and I am dropping the star rating to one until some meaning remedy is offered by the SELLER.

Original review before the holes appeared: Works perfectly! Ask your doctor what compression is right for you and it is important that you measure your calf and ankle for a proper fit.

Compression stockings are almost a MUST wear for anyone who is on his or her feet for long periods of time. Those folks who are diabetic and or older need to consider wearing them also. I fit in ALL the categories, so, I've worn them for over 35 years. I choose the nude color for work and everyday wear. I use the extra firm compression, perfect for my needs. The knee high is all the height I need so far. For Church on Sundays I am a Eucharistic Minister and/or Adult Lector. I choose to wear long skirts; therefore, black stockings work for me then. I WILL reorder! Shipping was nearly immediate and purchase cost was less than my local stores...ALL of them!
