I love this mouthwash because it's non-alcoholic, which means it's more gentle on your tissues. And it's biological rather than chemical. It tastes nicer than Listerine too.

I bought this Biotene mouthwash for a friend in Cairo whose wife had throat surgery. It's not sold in Egypt, but his doctor said it would be the best thing for his wife to reduce pain and prevent infection while she recovered from her operation. He seems happy with the results.

I got an oral piercing today and was given the Biotene mouthwash. It's excellent! Since it's alcohol-free it's not a problem to rinse as much as I'll have to the next few weeks. It tastes great, and I've never had a problem with dry mouth, but I agree, since the piercing and the very regular cleaning 4-6 times a day plus the morning & night sea salt rinses... seems like my mouth would be dry. Not at all! I am going to make Biotene my normal mouthwash now, not just for piercing care after it heals! Awesome product.
