I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about but I had no sense of an odor out of the box or otherwise. The liner gleefully covers the back of my SUV protecting my new car from the tremendous amount of hair shed by my Australian shepherd. The light, quilted padding gives her some extra insulation and comfort and the Velcro strips secure it in place. i used to use an old sleeping bag or old quilt but this liner is much less bulkly and there's no scrunching when she jumps in. The only thing I wish it had was a 3/4 split on one end so that it covered the back of my seat when I put it down flat.

I've had this cargo liner 9 months and I have used it daily for my Golden Retriever. It has held up excellent and I am very happy with it. He is a big chewer and has destroyed many stuffed toys, beds, chew toys but he has never bit a hole in this or destroyed it in any way. I do not use it as a Cargo Liner, I just drape it across the back seat of my Ford Explorer so I can't speak about how it "fits" the cargo liner area.
It has kept my seats clean and I usually only have to shake it off to clean it, but I have washed it several times and it's held up great from both the washer and dryer. I highly recommend this product.

This is a great product but be sure that the measurements are right for your car. I have an 2011 jeep grand cherokee and this was a little too big. However, the velcro part really stays put and it keeps my trunk well protected from my labrador.

This cargo liner has worked nicely in my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The velcro strips really do grip the fabric in the Jeep. We haven't had to use the other strips they include in the box as the front and back velcro does the job. My recommendation is to keep the box it comes in, and fold the liner into itself and put it back in the box when not in use.

Of note, the liner is not wide enough (in my Jeep anyway) to cover the sides, so there is still dog hair that gets on the interior, but for our vehicle, that part is plastic and easy to wipe off.

I love this product. It has enough traction so my dog does not slip around in the back when I take a corner. It seems to be water resistant and any spills easily wipe up with out soaking in. The dog hair does not get stuck in the fabric and brushes right out of the car. I would suggest placing this in the back of your SUV. It makes a great cargo mat with a little style and at the same time serves as a great way to keep your car looking as if it does not haul around a dog all the time even if it does.

It covers the entire cargo area and goes up on the back of the back seats.
However, I actually have the 'excess' folded at the trunk door end so before the dogs get in or out i unfold it to protect the bumper from scratches.
Washes well.
Many commented that the velcro doesn't work - The velcro holds fine in my car, even with two dogs playing in there. I think that is more an issue of each car's type of cargo covering than of the velcro on this item.

This mat has been great for protecting the back of my Pilot. The velcro on the bottom helps keep it in place even with my dog roaming around in the back. I'm very happy with the fit and would assume it would fit nicely in most 3-row SUVs.

My mom had one of these for the back of her van and I really like it, so I bought one. It installed easily, and looks good. Plus I like that it isn't made of carpet so it can be washed. The only negative, is that it installs with Velcro strips which didn't really work on my carpet. In some areas the Velcro pulled right off again. Not sticking to the carpet at all.

It is okay though. It stays pretty flat without the extra adhesive.

pads fine but the Velcro fasteners are far too small and do not grip that well. I put new larger more effective Velcro and it helped it improve markedly.
