Great for lefties, but I wish the back was more rigid and the paper was thicker. Ink tends to bleed through (same pen does not bleed through my other notebook), so I can't use the backs of the pages.

It is so hard to find top spiral, college ruled notebooks. Five Star is my favorite notebook brand. They just produce a great notebook that has perfect spiral (not too tight or too loose), quality paper and a sturdy cover and backing. I am so glad I found these and I will be ordering several more. I wish they had some with more sheets and you could pick what color you wanted, but neither of those things is a deal breaker.

College ruled seems hard to find in notebooks, much less top-bound ones. This has more sheets than average for comparable products (100 vs. 70 or 80) and under the paper cover is a vinyl cover that will stand up to rough handling.

Love the fact that the spiral is at the top, hate the fact that I received these with the first half of each one being bent, so I really only have half of each book to use without the pages being crumpled.
