I have had this safe for several years and have been very happy with it. I recently lost the keys and looked at their website to find out if I could order new keys. There are no model or serial numbers on the safe itself, only numbers on the locking mechanism, so I contacted customer service and described my predicament and gave some purchasing information. She helped me determine the model and new keys were on their way to me that day....plus she waived the key re-order fee!

This is a nice, heavy cash box with a real keyed lock - it would be hard to get into without the key. The metal is solid, the plastic tray is sturdy, and there is plenty of space inside for receipts, cash, etc.

My only complaint is that there isn't any way to latch the box except by key. It cannot be picked up by the handle unless it is locked shut. I will solve the problem with a bungee cord, but I think something like this should latch, and ALSO lock, so that it can be used w/o the key, carried around, moved, etc, and not have to be locked every time.

This cash box is just what I needed. It locks nicely and is sturdy. It has a handle so I can carry it. It can hold bills and coins, and I can store sales slips underneath the trays. A small investment for a good product.

Will it survive a burglar? Probably not. It does however serve its function of keeping things away from people. I paid $12 for the box, and I feel that it was well worth it. If you need more protection, it's safe to take a different product route.
