One feature that has not been mentioned in any of the reviews so far is the durable plastic tray that comes with the set. If you are going to hang the wrenches on your pegboard then you can trash the tray, but it is great for storing the wrenches in a tool drawer. In the photo section I added a scan of material packed with the wrenches. It shows the range of widths between the jaws. Also it cites several features that make this a good tool. I agree with all of them; unlike some advertised "facts" these are all true.

I have been told that I have too many tools, but in fact when I saw this item available in the ranges I had to have it. For a long time I just carried the 10" size in my tool box but always found it either too big, too small or too inconvenient to use with everything. The range of openings and the sizes for where they can be used has opened up a lot more uses. Irwin is and excellent brand name but the best feature is the locking ability it doesn't slip. A knuckle saver in that department. Anyone requiring multiple sizes of wrenches with ease and comfort would do themselves a favor to buy this set.

Had Nipex Cobras before they were stolen. I purchased these because they looked simular to Nipex Cobras but half the price. After many months of use and abuse the pliers are great just as good as Nipex.

I originally purchased a larger (8 pc) Irwin pliers set from Amazon.com for my home shop and was so impressed its performance that I ordered this set for my truck tool box. These pliers adjust quickly to any size pipe thanks to the push button release mechanism. When they lock into place there is no slippage or play. The V-Groove built into the jaws is a great help with stabilizing round pipe or square tubing. The handles work exceptionally well and minimizes fatigue in your hands. I highly recommend this 3 piece set more maximum utilization. There are other comparable products on the market, but dollar-for dollar, this set is the way to go.
