I have 5 of these on my 95 4 runner mounted to a safari rack.
they throw an incredible amount of light on the area in-front
of my truck. It's like daytime ahead of me at night. They don't
use too much power and they are perfectly priced. I have KC
daylighters and the difference in the light output is barely
recognizable with the KC lights being just a tad brighter, but
over 5 times the price.

Awesome lights, can't beat the value. I ordered a similar light, similar price, only a dollar cheaper and there is no comparison, this one wins hands down. The wires have terminals already on them, the other did not, and this has a cover that fits tight, other did not, I would pay the dollar more this this anytime. I ordered one of these, loved it and cancelled the order on my other light to buy another one of these. I got 2 of them and love them.

I got these lights because they were cheap. After I read the rest of the reviews, I knew that they would not be coming with any instructions or wiring components and I was ok with that. All you really need to wire these up is some wire (12 gauge is best), a relay, a switch, and a little bit of time. You'll probably also want to have an inline fuse as well. The real reason I only gave these four stars is because I was hoping they'd be brighter. I mean I bought them more for looks than functionality, but I still wish they worked a little better. They do throw a good amount of light a long ways, but if you mount them on the front of a non lifted truck like I did, the light hits the ground before it spreads out resulting in two circles of light instead of the entire area being lit up. But like I said, I still like them overall because they look awesome and they were under $20 and its easier to wire them up without instructions than you might be thinking.

In fact there's a great YouTube video showing how to wire up the relay if you search "Auto Repair & Mechanics : How to Wire a Relay" its the third one down and its 1min 56sec. There's also one where a guy shows how he wired the entire thing at "How to wire in off road lights using a relay" its also the third video down and should be 6min 9sec.

I bought these to put on my 2013 Polaris RZR. Each light was wired separately(2 wires each) to the fuse block through quality Daystar 20 amp switches. These are not any brighter than the head lights on the RZR. We double checked the bulbs and they were 100 watt H3 type bulbs. The lights were cheap enough so I'm not going to bash on them, good for the money I guess. Not sure if these are just cheap bulbs or what.

I just remember having KC lights back in the late 80's on my Silverado and it was like DAYLIGHT out when you turned them on. These lights are not even close!

I'll have to try some quality 130 watt bulbs in these and see what they do.

Looking at some of the other reviews it appears the bulbs may have been miss printed/labeled.
The bulbs say 100 watt but they must be 55 watt as mentioned on other reviews. This would be on par with the brightness observed on my RZR that has standard 55/60 watt low/high headlights.

I had bought 4 of these lights, not knowing what the outcome would be, i liked the fact that the ground and positive were ready to plug in, since my old lights broke and were old it was time to upgrade. I said heck why not get 4 of these not knowing they are cheap enough. well turns out they are great! very bright, sturdy (all metal), and has alot of adjustment for different needs. I would suggest these lights to any one.

Thee price was right and the lights work good but.....they have only been on my truck two months and one of them is rusting right trough the crome finish. It is past the time when I can return them so I will have to buy something else.

Bought 2, just for the housing. Painted them gloss black. and put 55 watt HIDs in them, slim ballasts are the only ones that fit. so 70$ total cost and have 2 HID 55 watt hid off road lights. Not bad at all considering the HID ones are like 100 each for 35 watt ones. The factory bulbs are ok, just not as good as HID ones. So do as I did, gut the insides and replace. Paint them or they will rust the chroming on these is crud. but for the price its a steal. I'll put up a picture when I get a chance to go into the back woods again. planning on getting 2 more when i get the time.

First of all, I understand these are cheap lights and I do not expect them to be equivalent to $200.00 driving lights.

I bought them to install on a 1967 MGB GT, Mostly because they are similar to the era-appropriate lights on old British sports cars.

Regardless of what the listing says
THESE ARE NOT 100-WATT LIGHTS.
They are standard 55-watt halogen lamps just like the kind that are in the typical driving lights you buy at Walmart or auto parts stores.

UPDATE 06-07-2913:
The Product description now accurately describes them as 55-watt lamps but the
Product Information section of the listing describes them as 100-watt.
HOWEVER, the product summary at the top of the listing says the item as coming with an NV-H3K-100-watt lamp which is also not correct. It comes with a NV-H3K 55-watt lamp.

The good:
* They are attractive chromed lights. A little thick but still good looking.
* They are cheap.
* The rubber sealing around the lenses seems to be fairly decent quality.

The not so good:
* The chrome is very thin. They will rust quickly if not waxed frequently or clear-coated (which defeats the point of having chromed lights)
* They have very little up and down adjustments (more on that later)
* The beam collimation is okay but the lower than advertized wattage means the reach of the beams is not what they should be. In fact, they are not very bright at all!
* No installation instructions, wiring or relays. Just two wires coming out of the lamps with bullet connectors.
* The mounting system allows a lot of "shake" from the lights even if you crank them down really tightly.
