It works pretty good, no problem. apply one day, I sand it off the next day..
Picture can be deceiving. Remember you're getting 4 oz. I thought from the picture I was getting 1 quart or something LOL. turn out it's a small can. But it works good.

This was the third filler I had bought. The first two did not dry after I used them which defeated their purpose because I needed to fill in nail holes in furniture. So I decided to go with this and it worked! It has a yellowish/tan color when dry but if you paint over it, its not noticeable. I painted white over it and you can't tell where the holes were.

I used this product to fill in holes in a door frame that would be painted over (as opposed to using it where wood grain would show). I found it to be far superior to other wood fillers I have used in the past (such as Minwax brand). The reason is that this product has a gluier consistency (after all it's Elmer's!) and therefore adheres to the wood to a much greater degree than the more substantial fillers that try to match themselves to the grain, where you have to buy a specific color. This filler is very light tan color when dry. It is lightweight, similar to some of the lightweight spackling products. I did not use a putty knife to apply it as their instructions recommended. Rather, I used my fingers, because I was filling holes in molding, with lots of curved surfaces. So I applied it relatively liberally, knowing I would be sanding it to match the surface. It was easy to sand to a smooth finish when dry. And before it dried completely, it was easy to get the excess out of the molding grooves using a toothpick. I'm very pleased with the results, and I will definitely go with this brand next time.

This product had a runny cosistancy. My previous experience a number of years ago,the material was thicker and easier to work with.This worked fie to fill hole,but was not easy to get effectively into the hole

This product works very well for repairing woodwork in the house. The only concern I had was in the container design. It is hard to fit a putty knife directly into the opening.

Amazon mislabelled this product and I discovered it too late after I'd slapped some on. Result?

Can't stain it
Hard to chisel out of wood outdoors (it's interior only)
Doesn't cure well outdoors

Nice surprise, Amazon, do your darn homework before you sell stuff! You can only sell our confidence in you once.
