Cisco WRVS4400N Wireless-N Gigabit Security Router Port Connections |
High-speed connectivity
Gigabit Ethernet speed on both the routing and switching connections helps you take full advantage of your broadband connection, enabling employees to send and receive large files quickly. It includes a 4-port Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 connectivity) to connect up to 4 devices such as, computers or printers, to share high speed connectivity in the business. An integrated Wireless-N access point, that is backward compatible with 802.11b and g standards, delivers high performance network access to keep employees connected to the network anywhere on the business site. It also features multiple-in, multiple-out (MIMO) technology which increases wireless throughput and expands the range to reduce “dead spots” for more efficient coverage of your small business.
Strong security
The Cisco WRVS4400N supports IPsec VPN connections so that remote employees can securely connect to the resources they need to be productive when traveling or away from the work place. A proven firewall with intrusion prevention enables the detection and blocking of most worms, Trojan horses, and denial-of-service attacks to keep your business assets safe. And an optional security service adds protection, scanning email and websites to help fight spam and viruses. The Cisco WRVS4400N provides built-in support for up to 4 multiple service set identifiers (SSIDs) and up to 4 Virtual LAN (VLAN) connections that enables the creation of separate virtual networks to segment network traffic by user group or to allow secure guest access
