If you ever do spark plug changes on a car with aluminum heads.... you MUST use this, it really protects the threads on the head and it makes the spark plugs a lot easier to remove next time you replace them.

This should really be in every auto mechanic or do-it-your-selfers tool box.

I am a landlord, and am sick and tired of digging broken bulbs out of sockets. So I started looking around for something to "grease" bulb bases with. Started with vaseline...what a disaster...smokes and stinks and bulbs get stuck worse.

Looked for high temp grease. Wound up at auto parts store for "anti-seaze". Works, but expensive.

Found this stuff...so far works great!

I have an army 6x6, 6 wheel nuts per wheel...each two piece wheel bolted together with 15 nuts at 400 ft/lbs. A couple wheels had some air leaks, and they need to be disassembled. It would have been a bear to remove these nuts without the ant-seize. I use this on every bolt in every application. Big bolts, little bolts and it does a great job of protecting threads that are exposed to weather.

Purchased on the "Good Electrical Conductivity" claim as a plug-in contact enhancer
for automotive relay applications, it is not a viable substitute for the $100/bottle silver stuff. In fact it does not conduct at all when stirred and measured with an ohmmeter. Very messsy too! Graphite based greases are much better low cost conductors.

That said, it appears to be ideal for high temperature heat transfer and anti-seizeure applications.

I have used this stuff for years and it works very well. My first experience was for use on stainless steel mounting hardware in a wet location. We had issues with the parts galling and being very hard to take apart again. We started using this compound and never had an issue again. Also, since it is rated for very high temperatures, it works well on auto brake hardware (use sparingly). Highly Recommended!

Besides this product being an excellent anti-seize product, I found it to be very useful in applications involving electrical contacts as well as radio antenna connections. It can be placed on coax connectors with great results provided care is taken not to allow it to be touching both the center connector and the outer parts of the connector as it will cause a short.

Use as directed by etcg (corners of brake pads against the mount/caliber/shim surfaces).
And on other stuff like windshield wiper arm where it is mounted on a spline to the motor/arm.
I had to remove my wipers a week later to adjust the angle.
Much easier to remove the second time around. (was kinda rusted and hard to remove first time around)
Of course, did not have a long time between applications yet but believe this will hold.
Will re-evaluate if somehow something does go wrong or does not hold up as expected.
