I bought a large costume for a Beagle size dog and it was much too small in length. Could not even use it for Halloween. I suggest getting at least one size larger than the size chart indicates. This costume is more suitable for dogs that are close to the actual size of a skunk.

I have a miniature jack russell and ordered the medium size. It was wayyyyyyy too small and there was no way it would fit this dog of 12 lbs. The item was fun but because of the sizing we were not able to fit it... It will be re gifted to a tiny teeny dog owner sometime in the future I guess??

I bought this costume for my italian greyhound. The costume attaches in two places, around the neck and around the belly. The velcro was adjustable which is perfect for his slight frame. I would reccomend this product to other small dog owners.

Was so excited for this to come, I went back and forth between it and the panda. I read most reviews, like I always do to get feedback mostly for size and quality. Most reviews said o.it runs small to order a size up, my Charlie measures 19' in length which is always the tricky measurement to fit him. With a 13' neck and 21' girth, no naturally I thought a large would be a perfect fit, until reading the recommendations to go up a size. Well... I shouldn't have. It's so long ( which isn't the worst bc its still cute, there aren't feet or anything that make it unwearable though. What stinks is that the strap under the belly that should be just above his little boy area, is now right over it/behind I and hanging bc the straps are long. It's a super cute costume though. I was hoping this was a full costume with legs which is what had me concerned about length, but it's not. It sits like a cape really, strap under the chin and under the belly and lays across the back with a tail and hoodie

I usually get my dog costumes from marshalls or tjmaxx but they didn't have any this year.. So I gave Amazon a try. I have a dachshund mix and I completely brought the wrong size (large), which was completely my fault. I should have bought the small. But the quality was awful anyway, so I would have returned it even if I bought him the right size. I put it on my border collie and The cut out for the head was too small. It didn't look right on her. I'll be returning and most likely putting my dachshund in a costume I bought last year. I'm all about buying stuff on Amazon but not dog costumes anymore. Petco it is!

I got the x-large, and it was still too small for my 82 pound dog. Further, the skunk tail doesn't have a loop on it, or anything that will help you keep it straight on your dog's back (you know, by putting it over the tail). So the costume keeps shifting from side to side, sometimes completely winding up upside down. I spent most of Halloween night, adjusting his costume. Sure he was funny looking and all, but it was a hassle.

I didn't read the review that someone else posted... and I wasted $20. They won't take returns and we received it only to read the back that lists dogs that are more in the 40 lb range for the X-Large size costume. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed, can't return it and it won't fit my 80lb German Shepherd puppy.... Sizing information would've really been helpful.
