    I ordered a pair of these boots on Sunday eveining, and they arrived right on time on Wednesday afternoon, with free shipping!!! I was able to track them with my UPS tracking number, and was able to be at home when they arrived. I had them in time for the weekend, and that convinced me that I will definitely order from them again. I have the Gray, and I want at least three more colors. to match suits that I have. I had owned a pair several years ago, and loved them, but had been unable to find them in stores locally. They are sleek, slick, and add some serious flavor to the right suit or jeans. They are comfortable too. If you like snake skin boots, and feel comfortable with a half boot, I highly recommend trying these. You won't regret it.

    I was unable to wear these shoes. I had to send it back because it was way too small. I wear 9.5 medium width US size. Ordered my size and it just couldn't fit. Contacted the seller about the problem and they responded by telling me that they cannot guarantee that the shoes they sell will fit. It's like what? You advertise a product and then tell costumers that you cannot guarantee that what you advertise may not fit. That's just plain ludicrous. The shoes are great looking but terrible fitting.

    Reviews indicated these were running small but I chose my current size (9.5) & $68.55 and free 2 day shipping with Prime. The size 10's were $25 more and not Prime eligible. The 9.5's were a perfect fit. I had to modify my walking style to accommodate the tall heels but no problem there.
    They show your socks if you cross your legs unlike taller boots but are easy to get on and off.

    I bought two pairs of these snakeskin boots a few weeks ago and got the first opportunity to wear the black ones last week. I have never seen so many people get excited about shoes before. No one would believe how little I paid for them (not even including the $20 Amazon kickback). The shoes are comfortable but I did have to return the first set to get a half size larger. The vendor paid for return shipping, so it was only a minor inconvenience but that's why they get four stars instead of five. Oh yeah, the second pair I got were the natural color and they are a little "whiter" than I would have liked.

    Fit-wise, these slip up & down on my heels heels a little and comfort-wise, the sole is rather thin. I added an inexpensive orthopedic insole, which helped both issues. Those things didn't surprise me. I wish the top of the boot was tighter, as it gapes open and catches pant legs. I sort of expected that too. The thing I wasn't prepared for was the heel noise while walking. I felt very self-conscious. I took them to 2 different shoe repair shops to see if there were heel plates that could be put on to quiet them down. They said no, it's a hollow plastic heel and nothing could be done. Well, there is! I bought Goodyear Neolite Rubber Heels through Amazon (sold by Orthostep) and glued them on with Shoe Goo. (Cutting them to fit was a little hard.) I also nailed them to stay in place while the glue dried, clamping didn't work well me. I would recommend black Shoe Goo over clear also. It made a HUGE difference. You can't tell that I modified the heel. I like wearing them now. They're not good for a lot of walking (I got a little toe blister after having to walk a lot on the first outing), but they look awesome and no longer clomp with every step. And, I got the Cuban heels I've been looking for with a really nice snake skin upper.

    My review may not be fair because I bought these shoes for a one time event. I don't plan on wearing them too often in the future. I usually wear Clark dress boots even with suits. These shoes however fit exactly to my size. Some reviewers say that they run small but I didn't experience this. Obviously these dress boots will turn heads and they served their purpose. I may consider another color in the future. You'll want to walk around in these for at least an hour to get used to the heel if you're not accustomed to walking with one. 4 out of 5 because although this boot fits perfectly and is good looking, the material will not last long. One scuff and you're done. I don't see how they could be repaired.

    They run small, but mine fit when I accounted for this.

    I've had 4 pairs of these snake bootlets.
    People love the fashion, and I love being an extra inch taller.

    Snake skin dries out and is thin. These last about a year
    before the heels fall apart. If you use shoe trees and oil
    the skin they will look brand new when the heel finally
    fails. If you don't oil/polish and dry them they will start
    peeling and look terrible at the end of that year.

    I learned a lot about maintaining shoes from having these.
    I bet I can get 2 years out of a few pairs now that I'm
    maintaining them.

    The shoes are beautiful and they were delivered appropriately. The shoes are very fragile and will scuff and the snake skin will damage easily. I bought them for my son for prom they are stunning.I ordered black ,I was sent dark brown.My son liked the shoes and they were comfortable for him so he kept them. The price was $56 which is a bargain however my son is a dancer and I suspect that they will not last long without damage
