This stuff is just great. We have a feeder designed to hold these cakes on our deck, and there is non-stop traffic there all day long. The squirrels love it, so that *helps* to keep them off the bird feeders (nothing will stop them, of course). But woodpeckers, nuthatches, chickadees, and titmice are all over it, too. And it is the #1 feeding station for our Carolina Wrens. A few years ago, one of our M.I.T. educated raccoons managed to get the feeder open and ran off with nearly a whole cake, so now we wire it shut with a twist-tie.

The ingredients really are top-notch, and it is chock full of nuts.

Minus one star for being absurdly over-priced - the ingredients, even considering the quality, can't possibly cost the manufacturer more than 50 cents.
