We have 35 Boar Goats and I purchased the Fortiflex Mineral Feeder for Small Animals to hang on our goat pen so that the goats could have there loose minerals at free choice and to keep it off the ground. Goats will walk, lay and do there business in the pans you feed them in if they can get in them, so this small feeder is ideal to keep them out of it. I used wire that came off of a bail of hay and tied it to a fence post and made sure I placed it low enough so that the babies could reach it also. There is holes to run the wire thru or you can use zip strips which is what I will use eventually so as the wire will not rust and break. I will be buying a couple more to add to this one to use since we have so many goats, they fight over this single one lol. Great product to use for several different types of small animals and or feed, minerals or free choice worming. I want another one also to put baking soda this keeps our goats from getting bloated and this small feeder will be perfect to hold it and keep it from blowing away and keep the babies from belly aches.

This item is a very solid, heavy duty product and the bins are plenty large for my Nigerian Dwarf Goats...much easier to let them have supplements free choice than to try to get them to eat them in thier food.

I bought this at a farm supply big box store. I use it for my goats. Baking soda in one side, loose minerals in the other. My goats stand on their hind legs and put their feet in it. They push up under it to rub their backs and they rub their faces and heads all over them and they stay strong and keep their shape and have yet to break off the wall, these are the best feeders for my nigerian dwarfs because they hold just the right amount of Chaffhaye per pound. Thumbs up. And 5 stars.

We love these and they last for years. This is our second set. We'd still be using the first set but we moved and left them behind. I like to put loose white and mineral salt in each side and let the horses choose which they'd like.
Although fairly small it's still generously sized and one fill lasts quite awhile.

A previous reviewer mentioned that it held up under frequent rubbing by goats, so I attached it with two more screws at the top (two more than the holes provided) and two at the bottom to prevent torquing from pressure from the bottom. So far it has worked just fine and the price was reasonable. This feeder is a bit smaller than I had expected, but it seems to be heavy ridged plastic, so I think it will hold up for a long time.

Bought one these at a local Tractor Supply for a mere $4.99. Couldn't beat that price anywhere. These are perfect if you have small livestock. I use for my small herd of 5 Nigerian Dwarf goats. For the price, they are very heavy duty plastic. I am actually very surprised how well it has held up too!
