My 9 year old ordered this ship for his new Betta. We were expecting a small ship for a small tank, and this fits the bill in that regard. But, the mast broke off when my son was rinsing the ship prior to putting it in the tank. We stuck it back in the hole, and figured it won't have to take much stress, but it shouldn't have fallen out in the first place. The ship's holes are too small for the betta to swim into. We were expecting the fish would be able to go inside and hide out a bit. Finally, the finish around the holes is rough. Definitely could snag pantyhose so could tear delicate fish fins (if he did fit inside...) Perhaps this would be better to give tiny fish a place to hide?

The marina sunken galleon ornament fits my take perfect, I have a marineland eclipse 12 gallon aquarium. It is small so it doesn't take up to much space, It looks like a real sunken ship. The color looks like it has been in the water for years, My little neon tetra fish love hiding in it. 5 star for a great looking ornament, great fit for a small tank.

Cute, but very small. Too small for even my guppies to swim through.

This is updated. I have two bettas that each live in their own 6 gallon, well filtered tanks. I put this ornament in Chloe's tank (she lives with 2 guppies). About 3 days later the tank became cloudy in a nasty way, different than I have seen. I do weekly water changes and scrape up some algae once a week to both tanks and only Chloe's tank became strangely cloudy. Before putting the ornament in Chloe's tank, I rinsed it very well. I can't say for sure that this is what caused the cloudiness in the tank, but I did her water change and threw the boat away. Her tank is clear again. I am a novice at keeping fish, so I cannot promise this is what caused the strange cloud in Chloe's tank, but we are happier without it.

This is very small- however it looks fantastic in my fry tank. They love it as it provides nice hiding space, but small enough that it doesn't take up the entire tank. Seems sturdy and you don't have to worry about weighing it down with anything.

The ship is much smaller than i expcected. The picture mislead me to believe that my fish could travel through the window and perhaps explore the tiny vessel. Other than that, its a very cute and detail piece of merchandise.

This thing was tiny. Like really tiny. So I ended up just pitching it because it looks silly in my 5 gallon tank at school. Just realize that this thing is meant for a fishbowl, not a bigger tank.
