I have always had excellent full grain leather bags and briefcases (Saddle back Leather, etc.) and have always maintained them with the best leather conditioners and cleaners. I recently purchase a full grain leather satchel bag from Antigua Leather, and like so many leather products, it was stiff . . the flap, the small pouch, the strap, etc. etc. I had Lexol on hand (an excellent product) and completely rubbed the bag down . . using my hands. I waited several hours to absorb any of the natural oils it may need, then buffed it off . . it was "a little" softer and more pliable . . and as I had hoped, darkened the leather a "light" shade. Two nights ago I saw the ad for Leather Therapy and was "sold" on it as being an excellent topical treatment for fine leather. I ordered it and it arrived TODAY)! Once again, I totally saturated my satchel, this time with Leather Therapy. Using a sponge, I saturated all of the bag, rubbing it in with a sponge and my hands. Upon completion, I let it stand for a couple of hours to absorb what oils and conditioners were needed, then buffed it with a clean soft cloth. AMAZING! The LT softened it dramatically and darkened it to a rich cordovan. It is absolutely beautiful. Great Product . . it is ALL I'm looking for in leather conditioner!

I've used Leather Therapy's "Restorer & Conditioner" (as well as their "Equestrian Wash" to clean my leather bags) for a few years. I just love what the Restorer/Conditioner does for my handbags. It has kept even my 10+ year old Coach, Kors, etc bags looking new. This product makes my leather bags and wallets feel so supple. And WOW what it does for the color! It has not changed the color of my handbags, but it will intensify them. ie, my black bags look blacker, and my brown bags look richer. The colors just appear more lush, and renewed! I have even used it on a very pale taupe-beige Michael Kors bag, and on a white bag (not nurse uniform-white, but somewhere between milky-white and a cool toned eggshell white). Neither pale color got any darker after applying this product. The "tone" did not change (did not yellow, thankfully!). I just conditioned my Fall handbags, which is why I thought to write this review. I can't stop petting my bags. LOL They just feel like butter! Total yummy leather goodness! If you have old bags you want to restore, or have new bags you want to protect, TRY THIS PRODUCT! I've used many other leather conditioners before (including ones by the designers who make my handbags), and nothing comes close to this product. AAAAA+++! I usually purchase from a local store, but you can also buy here on Amazon or directly from the Leather Therapy web site. The products I used are found in the Equestrian line up.

NOTE:
The Leather Therapy Restorer & Conditioner, and the LT Equestrian Wash are for smooth/hard leathers only (ie, do NOT use on suede or nubuck!!).

I have used many leather conditioners. This one is best for cleaning and for mold prevention. There are other conditioners that make the leather soft or shiny. This is better for leather that needs to stand up to tough conditions. It's a thin liquid that doesn't lather, so I use a sponge to apply it.

this is the best stuff I've ever used on our saddles and tack. we have always had trouble with mold each year when we get our saddles out and after using Leather Therapy Restorer and conditioner when we got them out this spring NO MOLD they were ready to ride and use. I would recommend anyone that has trouble with mold on their leather tack to try it they won't regret it.

I like the ease of use, effectiveness, and that it is very concentrated so you only need a very small amount. Does a great job of softening leather. Wondering if next time I should look for one of their products with UV blocker for use in my car interior, but for now - glad to have it, makes the seating more comfortable, grips better that the somewhat slippery surface leather conditioner that had the UV block which I had used previously.

I bought Leather Therapy due to the reviews and it being promoted as green. If your leather furniture is in great shape and you are maintaining it.....
this is fine.
If you have previously used other products on your furniture, if it truly needs restoration, AVOID LEATHER THERAPY and use LEXOL.
Lexol cleaner actually foams and cleans. Leather Therapy cleaner did nothing and was for me a major headache. Several pieces developed black spots (i think it was due to age and other products I had used being lifted from the leather. IT DIDN'T MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I USED LEATHER THERAPY Cleaner. SPOTS WORSENED AND JUST GAVE ME A NIGHTMARE.) And I had to wait for it to dry and got nowhere with the next application. The first time I used Lexol, it foamed, cleaned and dirt and previous products were a thing of the past.
Leather professionals use Lexol. NOT Leather Therapy.
I am sad due to it being biodegradable, but skip the experiment and go straight to LEXOL.

The ONLY oil I will ever use on my tack. My leather loves it, and it has preserved my tack and gets my items soft, supple and beautiful. I've been using this stuff for over ten years on the SAME tack, my tack looks maybe 1-2 years old. I think I'll never need to buy another saddle or bridle again. This product is a godsend and the big bottle with a pump is amazing. So easy to use! Worth every single penny.
