In the many years I've been knitting dolls, I've amassed a lot of yarn, in many colors and shades. I was desperate for somewhere to store and see them at the same time.

I ordered three sets of these, and I'm very happy with them. They fit very nicely in the closet on the top shelf in the spare room. Before I had to rummage for the color I needed, I never knew what I had. Now I can see at a glance.

These storage chests have a strong smell when you first get them, but when they are opened out in the air they begin to lose the smell, I've had them a couple of weeks now, they still smell a bit, but it's not awful, they probably will smell even less the longer I have them.

These would be very useful to store clothes (not in use), or sheets and towels you don't use all the time and want to keep the dust off. You can stack them up and see what's in them. If you open them often, or stuff them too full, the zips will break.

I'm going to post two pictures of the wool stored in them, and also one with some sheets and towels.

These are basically fancy versions of the plastic packaging that you get when you buy something like bedding. They may be thicker plastic and they do have the handles. They are reasonably well made, but they will bust if you over stuff them...but I was suprised how much I could overstuff before they busted....then you can just use ducktape if you need to repair. I bought a few and they work well for my use. If you stack them they will not slide well since they are plastic. The zipper seems good enough quality....when mine busted it wasn't at the zipper. They are not waterproof since the zipper is connected with cloth but they'd be great for hauling wet swimsuits, life jackets or snow stuff. It depends on what you'll use them for but I like them.

I just received these and there's a very small warning label on the outside package that the product description doesn't mention: "Warning: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm." That's a little worrisome considering what you may store in the cases.

And it's true - these are a little small though I knew that when I purchased them. They're large enough for sheets, small pillows, baby clothes... just consider given the cancer warning label!

The vinyl is sturdy and the zipper is flimsy as noted by another reviewer. I purchased a few of these bags; one of the zippers ripped away from the vinyl and another one broke at the handle because I put heavier items in it. If all you want to do is store sleeping bags/lightweight linen as pictured and you have the patience to be careful with the zipper, these will work fine. If not, then try a different product.

I bought several of these to use as duffel bags for our motorhome because you can see the clothes inside. I loved them while they lasted but found the zippers tear off the plastic after just a couple of uses. I think they would be okay if only used as a blanket storage bag for seasonal use. Not intended for daily use.

Very poorly made. One of the bags was already split at a seam when I got it.

Also, for anyone who wants something that is moth-resistant, look elsewhere. The holes where the rope handles go into the bag have enough of a gap to allow insects to enter.

Purchased this as an underbed flat shoe storage solution for a particularly low (5" from the ground) bedframe. It works well as a solution, but is definitely not a long-term storage piece. The plastic is noticeably lightweight and thin (if you're looking to protect clothes from moths or other bugs of the sort, I doubt this will deter them) and the zipper rather flimsy.
