If the box didn't have a sticker on it saying it's Moog, I would never be able to tell. Also, it was a white painted damper with a blue boot. huh? Ok, so after getting it, I re-read the description and it said "colors may vary". So I guess I should have read it a little better. The damper appears to be working great, however, I'm still leary about it actually being the brand I thought I purchased. Seller should at least give a color selection choise when ordering.

It is a different color as stated , as far as being Moog I think it is I checked with local parts store and the box is the same as their Moog part. All made in Mexico and the ones they had in stock one was white the other black . None of them say Moog on them just the part numbers.

This is an item I have intended to install on my 1976 Jeep CJ5 since I bought it in 1977. I received the kit in a timely fashion. The instructions were simple to follow and I only regret that I didn't do this years ago.
