The quality of the rubber is great.

The price is comparable to Lowe's, but my store didn't carry black (only white --not even the brown available at most stores).

I am ENTIRELY baffled as to why they can't use a stronger adhesive. I chose to ignore the reviews stating the adhesive wasn't as good as it should be, but they are correct. And there is NO WAY better adhesive would raise the cost of the product that much; it would CERTAINLY improve the product by leaps and bounds. The stickiness is just "ok," and should definitely be improved.

Edit: even with the biting cold (sub zero nights) it is still holding on strong to the doors after 4 months.

Use this for my closing the gap in my basement double metal doors. Cleaned the parts of two doors beforehand with rubbing alcohol ( isopropyl) waited for it to dry completely and applied the strip. It's been several weeks and still stuck like a champ. No more drafty doors this winter.

Great product until the tape lost grip. I cleaned the door edges to ensure the tape had proper grip but when summer came around, several places became loose and I had to use marine glue to reattach. Works well for reduction of wind noise (that why I purchased). I added this to the factory weatherstripping on my 2010 4 runner for added noise barrier and installation.

The adhesive was useless and went in the trash...perhaps in hot weather it could work ok but that would be the only scenario. I tried using on a clean surface in 50-60 degree weather and wouldn't stick at all.

This product will not come off once applied. You have to cut it off with a strong handled razor scraper.
Full thickness as claimed a high quality product better than the original.
