I rarely give something 1 star but I have to say that when something is supposed to be walnut wood in color and is flat gray, it doesn't even deserve one star. I was able to overcome this by purchasing another product to cover up the gray color but you shouldn't have to. Again, it firms up and seems dry but it is GRAY. You most likely won't believe this and still purchase it only to come back and warn others when it is dull gray. ;)

Keep shopping until you find something better--then respond to this review with what actually worked for you. I ended up using a Minwax wood pen/marker to color the spots darker.

Used on badly damaged mahogany flooring prior to refinishing. The color blended in quite well and sanded perfectly, almost unnoticeable. Dries quickly and spreads evenly......The soap & water clean-up is a plus!!

This stuff really works well on black walnut and drys super hard and rather quickly. I incidentally put a dowel hole clear through my work piece and once the dowel was in place and the board glued into place I had to fill the hole. It was somewhat of and oblong hole and the putty filled in nicely, had to use two applications due to shrinkage. Once completely filled and sanded smooth it actually looked like a natural knot in the wood and since this was the top of an end table was the perfect fix.

Color is a close match to my floor. I kneaded the tube for a while like the directions said, so maybe that helped. It dries very fast, but is super easy to clean up with water, even a day or two later. Mine has a slightly gray, powdery appearance when it dries.

Slow drying but worth the wait for the good workability of the product. I agree with another reviewer as to flat, almost bluish ugly color. I mixed walnut with red mahogany for a color nearer to most of the walnut I work with. Otherwise I would have thrown it away.

I used this to fill in a couple of deep scratches on a laminate floor. I wouldn't say it turned exactly grey but it certainly wasn't dark walnut. It was easy to work with and looked great until it dried. Then it turned a brownish-grey that didn't match the floor at all. I then used a different product (Old English Scratch Cover) to cover the greyish and it turned out good. I would not recommend this product.
