Silicone is supposed to be easy use and the eggs will just slide out.
1)this poacher does not do this and leaves a residue behind that took 4 washings to clear but still discolored. 2) You have to use the largest pan you can find as it does not go into even a 4 qt. saucepan without tilting it. 3) the design is very poor. 4) I even used oil to coat the silicone cups before using and it still didn't work.

The eggs were unsatisfactorily cooked in these cups so why bother. It is easier to use my old method of water poaching and even if some of the egg white sticks to the stainless steel bottom, the pan comes clean in one scrubbing. I rate this as a useless gew gaw and a piece of junk at an unreasonable price for what you get.

This poacher is horrible. It does not fit in a sauce pan. I had to use a deep frying pan and the water kept boiling off. You cannot fit a cover over the poacher because the handle is too tall. The eggs do not cook well. They are overdone on the bottom, and RAW on the top. Don't waste your money.

This is such a bad poor design product. It makes me wonder if they ever test this before putting it in the market.
It takes about 25 minutes to cook and 15 minutes to clean those silicone cups. What a wasting in time, gas, and water!!! DO NOT BUY THIS!!!
