I'm a union electrician who is always looking to support my fellow working person. So, made in the U.S.A. by a union workforce was a big draw for me. That being said, these are terrific boots. I'm almost too selfish to tell where I got them. Otherwise, every man on site will be wearing them. You can't get quality like this from some third world sweatshop. I'll be back for more.

Very good quality USA MADE boot !

Fit and finish is very good. Their website states USA made boots have more room in them than Non USA made boots. I found they run small in the width. I Ordered a 11D and they were too tight. I normally wear a 11W so the 2nd time around I ordered 11w and they fit . I have a pair of Converse Tactical boots and they are only a 11D , So dont pay attention to Thorogoods website and order you normal size. Premium grade leather from the USA also is very supple .I'm impressed, really good quality boot. They do need a chance to break in and the insole is too narrow for my heal area but I can fix that. GO USA !

Just what I was looking for.

I work on a ranch and I was looking for a good pair of work boots. After reading the reviews I took a chance on these Thorogood Boots and they are just what I was looking for in a work boot . They take about a week to break in but then your good to go.

MY HUBBY WONT BUY ANY OTHER BOOT!

My hubby is an electrician and is on his feet A LOT! He will not buy any shoes unless they are made in the USA. These shoes are made in the USA, which makes him very happy! Not to mention the comfort he has when wearing them! He has very wide feet and the 4E is perfect for someone with wide feet! He says they are the most comfortable boot he has ever owned. I will say he wears them out to the point where you can't get any more wear out of them. If I don't check his boots, he would probably wear them to the nitty gritty bottom sole. I would say they last about a 1 1/2. After that time the inside starts to wear down very quickly. These shoes are expensive, but your paying for comfort which you can't put a price on that when your on your feet a lot! I would not second guess the purchase, you wont regret it and you will be satisfied that you did!

Thank God for Thorogood! These are the best boots currently available, and I have tried them ALL! MADE to LAST in the USA! High-quality, very comfortable, well-made, and affordable! Thank you so much! I am very happy. I have found a replacement for my once-loved Red Wings.

I have very odd sized feet and live in pain when walking. It is a fact of life that I cannot wear normal boots that you would get at Kmart or Walmart. For years I purchased Red Wings at $200+ per pair. Then, Red Wing finked out and moved much of manufacturing to China. They are NOT the same boot, and the price didn't drop a penny - Red Wing profits just soared. I haven't bought Red Wings in about 10 years now. Too bad for their greed.

It's hard to find shoes made in the USA at a reasonable price. i used to by wolverines all the time because of that, now the boots I used to get are made in China and cost the same as they did when they were made here. shame on you!!! the boots from Thorogood are comfortable, look good and the quality is exceptional. from now on these are the boots for me.

make sure you measure you feet and check the fit chart on the web site, they do run a bit larger.

Big dissapointment!

Way off base anatomically. Sole ok for support. Lace hooks way too small even for skinny laces. Expected much more for 200$ and American made!!! Feel the same as Redwings. Read more
