Originally bought for my daughter..but she wasn't able to do much with it. The batteries need to be changed every few days, game saves your information but not the pets status. When it's not played for more than 4 hours, the food, water, hygeine, and mood levels are at 0, food is expesive, and free food can only be obtained with the console. Would be better suited for the age range of 8-12.

This dog handheld is really quite fun!!!! But... there are some negatives.

Pros- Really fun
Cute dogs
Teaches responsibility pretty well
Fairly realistic


Cons- Batteries run out fast
Breaks fairly easily
Slightly unrealistic
A little cheaply made

Overall, I think that this product is fun, interesting, and quite realistic (even though there are some things that I would have not preferred)!!
