The tweezer-nose plier handles fine work with finesse. This is more a tweezer-with-handles than a plier - don't expect it to do a needle-nose plier's job. This is smaller and lighter and isn't meant for the same forces; I wouldn't expect it to take much twisting or hard crushing, for instance. Those jobs need a different tool.
I have and use both the flush cutter (410) and the tweezer-nose plier (450) to hand-build circuit boards. They feel right and work well so I'm focused on the job instead of on the tool or on avoiding an "Oh-S#!7". Their return springs work smoothly and are tucked away where they won't pinch fingers or snatch up stray wires. The grips don't slip out of winter-dry hands and each tool seems to have a different colored set (my two have, anyway) so its quick to find the right tool (from - you know - that random pile that always seems to accumulate about an hour into the job? :)

Despite the name change as "Super Fine Pliers," this product is completely identical to the Xuron 450 tweezers. How do I know? Because despite the change in packaging, the tool is stamped with the Xuron model number. I suggest you buy the Xuron 450 (also available on Amazon) at a considerable savings. Note that the Xuron 450 comes with a smooth and a serrated version, this product is identical to the smooth jaw version.

I absolutely love these tools. I ordered two of them to do chain maille weaving. They are perfect. Well crafted, sturdy, and the tips are very fine. I haven't used them on 16g wire yet but I think they may be a bit to "light weight" for that gauge. Will definitely order them in a different size for the heavier gauge wires/rings. I would hate to "tweak" these as they are such precision instruments. Very comfortable and very affordable.

All of Xuron's tools are excellent. The 450 tweezer nose is one of the most generally useful, but once you have one of the Xuron tools you're going to find yourself buying more. Particularly if you work with small photoetched metal parts, you can't do without these finely made and precise pliers.

Xuron makes nice, affordable jewelry tools. These are PERFECT for tiny/precise work. I bought 2 pairs for chain maille, and I'm using them with 22G wire. I only gave them 4 stars, because after a fairly short period of time, I thought the grips became uncomfortable. That being said, the quality of these is better than my last pair of ergonomic Lindstrom (with the crappy plastic spring) and I know that I will enjoy these for years.

Don't buy crappy tools, or you'll just have to buy them again and again. Buy the best quality you can afford, and Xuron is a very nice quality at a very reasonable price. I also own 3 pairs of Xuron cutters, all of which have been used for over 4-5 years (and I chain maille a LOT) and they're still in great shape. (Swanstrom has the best cutters, imho, but they're super expensive).

Don't hesitate to get these. They are very precise and made to last a lifetime.

These are excellent pliers, if not the best, for their price range. I am an intermediate artisan jeweler and find that these are more than adequate for my purposes. They are definitely my go-to whenever I need a chain-nose plier: fine enough to get in small places or work on delicate jobs, but sturdy enough to hold up for general use, too. I don't use them for any heavy-duty chain-mail type designs (I only rarely get up to using them higher than 18 ga jump rings), so I can't say how well they'd hold up for that.

The grip is quite comfortable, and the spring action is smooth and easy. I have two pairs that I've been using daily for almost 2 years now, and they are working just as well as when I first bought them!

As with any non-rubberized tool, you have to be careful of getting nicks on your wire.

I love these pliers! Its that small pliers we are all looking for when there is a tight spot you need to get into and that needs to be fixed- these pliers get in there and take control! Lol. Quality is excellent.. I like them so much I want to replace all my pliers with the Xuron brand! Price is great also.. They're Fantastic, try them you won't regret it!

After buying one of these Xuron Tweezer Nose pliers to use for the fine tasks of jewelry making, I had to have a second. For those of us who sometimes feel like "Edward Sissorhands" with pliers or tweezers in each hand, we couldn't wish for anything finer than Xuron Pliers.

I love these tweezer nose pliers and came back to Amazon to buy the long nose Xuron pliers, which is a little shorter & wider. These tools are so well manufacted, work fantastically, and feel great in the hand.

If you haven't tried the Xuron cutters, those are fantastic, too. My 410 cutters have already lasted far longer than other cutters I purchased from other makers, They are still cutting sharp and no nicks in the blades.

I love Xuron tools -- quality, functionality, and feel!!!!!
