This fan fit my HP Pavilion desktop PC model # A6528P.
The holes are spaced 8.2 centimeters (on center) apart which lines up exactly with the hole pattern in my desktop PC. Wish the product offered that information so I am including it here. Hope it helps others since sometimes the outside fan dimensions (9.25 cm) is not as important as the mounting screw hole dimensions.

This fan moves air very well. This unit is also very loud. It was louder than tri-cool 120mm and 92mm blue fans. I ended up removing power from the unit because it was louder than the other 5 fans in my case combined. If you NEED cooling then this will help to get front to rear airflow added to your case. If you have other case options then I suggest using them first.

For graphic card overheating issues you should add internal fans in the case to move the hot air away from the graphic card.

This can be done by adding a fan to push extra air across the cooling fans of the graphic card. Using the "pull" system of this rear exhaust fan to take away hot air from the card is very inefficient. First task is to cool the card then the second task is to remove the hot air. This fan will remove the hot air from the case. Try using a dual 70mm card slot fan or a fan pointed at the graphics card to push air into your graphic card. I used the vantec card for that purpose.

Just one thing to note, this fan moves some air! If you want something to keep your case cool, try this out. It fits in any pci slot even in tight spaces, but is best used under your video card.

I had a CPU cooling fan go on my dual-cpu machine so I decided to order two of these - may as well replace both, right? The first two I installed, turned on the machine, and heard a lot of noise. I turned it off and inspected to find that each fan had a blade loose and about to fall off. When the fans were removed, each of the broken blades did fall off.

Amazon did a great job in sending me two replacements right away which I received the very next day. However, I installed these two - this time very very carefully and gently - and one of them had the exact same problem at power on.

So ultimately this fan fit my need: the one busted fan in my computer was replaced and it runs quietly and cools well. It is obvious to me though that these are low quality fans and not at all durable. Next time I'm going with another brand.

I installed the StarTech.com 90x25mm High Air Flow Dual Ball Bearing Computer Case Fan with TX3 Cooling Fan FAN9X25TX3H in a PowerSpec B351 desktop computer to replace a noisy OEM case fan.

The StarTech comes with a standard three wire harness which was a 'plug 'n play' replacement for the OEM harness. It also comes with four self tapping screws which tap themselves securely into the plastic fan housing when mounting. No issues with unwieldy packaging, either - the fan shipped in a small box with only a single wire tie (to hold the screw package to the harness).

Note that the fan can be mounted from either side (there are mounting holes in each side of the housing). In order to make certain that I installed the fan in the proper position (fan blowing air out rather than in) I checked the OEM housing to see which way the fan blades were positioned relative to the OEM housing that had the threads installed. (An alternative would have been to plug the StarTech fan in before mounting and power the computer up for a few seconds to check the air flow - or to Google which way the blades should be pointing; in my case it was expedient just to compare to the OEM fan).

Driving the self tapping screws in was no chore, but one might want to use a #1 Philips screwdriver rather than one of the smaller "computer tool kit" screwdrivers; a larger handle gives one more torque to drive the screws home with less effort.

The StarTech fan is noiseless in that I cannot hear it over the ambient noise in my 1 person office. I believe the dual bearing design helps in this regard over the OEM bushing design.Read more ›

Installed and worked great. I bought this fan primarily because it was rated at the lowest dBA I could find. However, after about a week, it started rattling. My first inclination was that the screws had somehow come loose, but to my amazement, even when the fan is loose in my hand, it makes the same rattling noise. I'm betting I just got a dud, but disappointing nonetheless.

The software automatically disables the Windows controls and installs a very easy to use application with more options than windows. All in all, a great little UPS. I got this one after returning a Cyberpower unit which was a piece of junk (I fell for the cheaper price but you get what you pay for!)

I have two Zyxel network storage boxes (NSA221). The fan died on the first one after a little over a year and the hard drives started over heating. I wrote Zyxel and they were basically clueless, their only solution was to send the whole unit back. I took it apart and got the size and wiring configuration of the fan (60X60X10, 3 wire) and ordered this little beauty from Amazon. Now the NAS is back humming along as quiet and cool as ever.

Oh and if you have a NSA221 you'll have plenty of warning if your fan is going to die. It will start making a horrible humming/vibration noise about a week before it dies completely.
