This is a solid and reliable scanner.

The only drawback is having to download drivers directly from the website to use the device on a Windows Vista machine.

Over the years I have a number of visioneer scanners and I like the PaperPort software they come with.
Combine that with the mail in rebate and this was a great deal.
Scanner works very well and the Paperport software can scan directly to .pdf files as well as other formats.
It just works well, and it works with Windows 7 too.

always have been pleased with a visioneer product. easy to work with. don't have to use it often but i want a depenable product when i need it. great for faxing and copying.
