Purchased this in July 2011 for my 1997 Honda Accord LX when my driver's side door actuator finally croaked. In comparison to the OEM part, this Dorman's cabling is about an inch or two shorter in length. Got this part to fit and connect to the door cabling its supposed to go to, but there is quite a bit of tension on the cabling. However, as of Feb 2012, the Dorman actuator is still working without any issue!

I purchased this door lock actuator (front left door) for my 94 Honda Accord back in March 2014 and it failed in early July 2014 (just under 3000 miles since I installed it). When I removed the actuator, I noticed that the small lever that moves the lock rod up and down was jammed. I disassembled the actuator and found that one of the two rubber stops inside the actuator had failed and the gears had jumped out of sync and jammed. To Amazon's credit they were willing to allow me to return it. However I was able to repair the actuator, so, I did not return it. I replaced the rubber stop with a piece of rubber fuel line and a modification to the internal structure of the actuator housing to accommodate the additional thickness of the improvised rubber stop. That said, this product should not have failed in such a short period of time. Beware.
