As with all treats for cats, your cats may not have the same experience...

That being said, my cats go NUTS for these balls. I had to buy a couple of them so they wouldn't fight over them. My cats don't usually care about catnip, but they are obsessed with these things. Our 6 year old cat will lay on the ground, hold it with her front paws, and lick it like crazy. She'll roll all over it, too. It is weird and hilarious. Our little one year old plays with these like they are the most interesting toys he's ever seen. He usually gets bored with balls, but he chases these all over the house. Pawbreakers were definitely a terrific impulse buy and I will continue to buy them for as long as they make them!

My cats like the catnip ball, and that's really all that matters with a toy like this. I was concerned because I wasn't sure if the ball would fall apart and leave bits all over my floor, but it hasn't.

I hope the company comes out with a ball that has a hole through the middle so that I can put one on a string or wire. It would be easier to keep track of that way.

I have multiple cats; I bought 2 to try out. They love this thing! they're a little smaller than i thought (about golf ball size). My cats just go nutty. they lick them, roll on them, bat them around. even my oldest cat (about 18 yrs old) was having fun. Good fun for your cat.

My cats were going crazy over this catnip ball... before I even opened it and took it out of the Amazon.com box! They love to walk around, batting it as they go. We have all wood floors, with some throw rugs, and I haven't noticed any staining or rubbing off of the catnip.

My cats LOVE this ball. I'm talking about 2 cats that normally ignore every toy I buy for them. They fight over this ball. They love it. They can't get enough of it.

UPDATE: It's been about a year now since I purchased this ball. Both of my cats STILL love this ball. They play with it until it gets lost under furniture somewhere. Then I find it while cleaning and put it back out in the open, and as soon as they come in again and see it, they start playing all over again - until they loose it under furniture. Then the whole thing repeats, over and over and over. Play, loose, find, resume.

One cat swats it and chases it up and down the hall. The other cat lies on the floor holding it in his paws and licking it - for 30min or longer. The ball is now about 1/2 its original size. I've bought them a LOT of toys. Most they ignore completely. A few they played with for 5min and quit. This is one of only 2 toys they continue to play with any time they see it. When this one is gone, I will definitely get them another.

I really did not think my Baby kitty would like this ball (pressed Catnip). I was wrong. She loves it. Now I am not only getting mice, etc. from underneath appliances but also this Catnip toy. Even the packing list laying on the desk beside me is driving her berserk. Thanks for the great toy. I will definitely mention you to my friends.

The newness has worn away and my Baby kitty now ignores this Catnip ball. I will put it away in the plastic bag it came in and store it for another day.

This is a deceptively simple toy -- just a solid ball of catnip. I have four cats (roughly ages 6, 7, 8, and 10) and most of them don't really care for hard ball toys all that much, but they all liked this. One licked it, one rolled around on top of it, and two batted it around all over the living room floor.

It's quite unusual for all four of my cats to express interest in the same toy, so this was a hit. For what it's worth, it was made in the USA (important with anything a pet could lick or consume). And if it gets dirty (my dog got ahold of it), you can rinse it off and let it air dry and it seems to retain its shape and texture.

At any rate, I'm quite happy with this so far, and so are my cats.

My cats love these solid catnip balls but they usually end up under the refrigerator so I get out the "fishing pole" (aka yard stick) to get them out. I usually have a large crew when reteiving them.
