I would highly recommend this opener. I drove all over town looking for a simple opener for a very large gate spanning a three car driveway. All were very expensive. This opener is reasonably priced and easy to operate. The only one i will use from now on.

- If you have a community that uses these transmitters, then this is a great deal. Most communities want you to buy from them at $50.00

- Next to the battery it has the 10 switch settings that are easy to change.

- If you have a gate opener at your community and you have used this one the Digi-Code 5012 will not work because you cannot change the setting on the gate itself. I thought they were interchangable like advertised, so I had to buy the Digi Code 5010 to replace my old one.

- These Digi-Code 5010 and 5012 should be interchangable if you have a garage door you will be using this on as long as you can change the setting on the garage door motor.

- Rememeber the 5010 and 5012 work on two different Hrtz. 5010 is 300hrtz and the 5012 is 310hrtz.

I bought this remote so I could open the gate to my apartment complex, and it works perfectly! I have no complaints! Set up was easy, and it opens the gate to my complex with no trouble whatsoever.
