If you have a greyhound and don't want a fancy custom Martingale collar then this is the collar for you. I have used these collars for many years and I wish the dogs lasted as long as the collars!
They are easy to wash (just hand wash them with a bristle brush and some soap), and once you fit them they will stay the same size forever, without slipping.
I would definitely recommend the 1" over the 3/4" even for small females because it is much sturdier and much less likely to slip off skinny heads.

Please do not buy this collar. On June 29 I kissed my beloved dog, Porter, and went to work. I came home to find him dead and hanging from a cabinet. The loop of this collar got caught on a cabinet handle. He was killed. I am devastated and filled with regret. Since that time my vet and countless others have confirmed that collars like this one result in so many needless deaths. There was no way for my sweet dog to escape once this collar started to tighten like a noose. I plan to adopt another dog, and I will only use a breakaway collar. If something should cause that collar to break, I will know his life was spared from a tragic accident. PLEASE SAVE YOUR DOG'S LIFE -- DO NOT BUY THIS COLLAR. I am heartbroken and devastated to lose my little angel in such a traumatic way. I will never forget the horrific sight I came home to. I only hope he didn't struggle for long. If I could change anything in my life, I would go back to that day and remove this deadly collar.

Got the teal colored collar for my dog, which looks a bit brighter in person than this pic. I chose this for the affordable price, as this is our first martingale style collar, and I like the solid color versus patterned collars.
My dog is a lab jindo mix, 50lbs. I didn't measure his neck, but his previous collars were either M or L sizes. I followed previous reviews saying the collar runs large, and opted for the medium. The collar slips on without a buckle to click which I feel makes it easier, and is loose and comfy for wearing around even when not on walks. I placed the dog tags on one of the rings on the side that hold the middle loop together. I have taken my dog out for a couple of walks with it and it really is slip free. I prefer him not to get away as he is not always doggie friendly. It is also easy to lead him (my dog) over with just the ring on the loop compared to a traditional collar. It doesn't help him from pulling/tightening up the collar around his throat when he sees a squirrel or rabbit, but I have a harness if I feel he will choke himself.
