The Amazon description doesn't do this cart justice. Note this is the desk-side cart and not the shorter one that fits under the desk. The wrong picture pops up in the cart and orders lists.

Pros:

--STRONG
--50 lb capacity for two lower shelves; 100 lb capacity for top shelf
--3-level adjustable middle shelf
--Attractive black and silver color scheme; clean lines
--Sturdy finish on all parts
--Great aeration for a CPU and laser printer.
--If said CPU and printer are reasonably small, they fit side by side on the bottom shelf.
--Pieces engineered to fit quickly and easily; no adjustments needed; all parts and one extra screw in box
--Every piece was individually wrapped and packed well, so there was no shipping damage, even though the box looked like a cat's hairball
--Neat looking side pocket, which goes on either side, of course
--Large, strong casters that roll very easily when unlocked
--Same day ship, and, because it came from a major nearby city, it arrived in one day

Cons

--No rear opening for computer/printer/monitor cables. Not even a popout. I had to cut my own, and that back wall is nice, strong metal. Thus, the 4 stars instead of 5.
--Shoplet never emailed shipper and tracking number, even though I emailed and phoned for the info. Then, again, with one-day delivery, I guess they didn't have time.

This stand was exactly what I was looking for. It's sturdy and strong. The stand is about 12" high without the wheels. I didn't put the wheels on because I don't plan to move it from its location. You will need muscle to put it together though. It's not much room to screw in the side-panel screws so screwing in the screws is awkward. Once you get pass the side panel-screws, the rest of the construction is a breeze. The side-panels and legs are metal, and the top is wood. The top is 20-1/4" x 16-1/2". The shipment arrived quickly as well. If you're looking for a small, strong, sturdy stand, then I recommend this one.

The stand arrived mostly in good shape and on time. I say mostly in good shape because the FedEx delivery arrived with one corner of the shipping box damaged and wet. Inside, one of the shelves sustained a bit of damage to a corner of one of the side pieces that I fixed that with a body hammer and dolly. A claw hammer and a piece of wood could have worked also.

Assembly took 45 minutes, even with taking the sides apart three times due to incorrect orientation and assembly. Sheet metal screws are used throughout (not my favorite hardware in this assembly). All that is needed is a phillips screwdriver, although an apex and ratchet would be better because the assembly screw holes are very close to the side pieces and it is somewhat difficult to keep the screwdriver pependicular to the screws when turning. It helps if a second person holds the side pieces while you drive the screws.

Be careful of the sharp edges because everything is made of sheet steel except the particle board top (my least favorite substitute for solid wood).

Time will tell if the screws will come loose and if they do I'll drill out the holes and install machine screws with nylon insert nuts.

Overall, the piece looks good and should have no trouble supporting the HP all-in-one printer that I recently purchased. The shelves are handy for storing paper and will be able to support a good size load also.

I gave it four stars mosly because of the condition at delivery, not looks or quality. Also, the instructions could have been a bit more detailed so that you are sure you are assembling it correctly.

I was able to get this together in about an hour. I do not like instructions that rely solely on pictures. I find them very aggravating and tedious. It's best to study these instructions thoroughly before diving in. This stand has the type of design that was intended to be assembled once. If you have to disassemble this because of an error you will end up weakening the connections. The screws fit into slightly smaller holes so the action of driving in the screw the first time makes for a tight connection. If you have to remove the screw and re-screw it in. The hole has already been enlarged from the 1st insertion, making the connection usable but not nearly as good as the first time. The more times you do this the worse it gets. So get it right the first time.

If you do not have an electric screwdriver this will be very difficult to put together. A hand held would be beyond tedious!

The stand is very sturdy once assembled and can easily support any amount of weight without using the casters and I would assume at least 200 pounds with the casters. This is a particle board and steel stand. The veneer on the top is very nice and scratch resistant.

All in all I really like this stand. It's just that the instructions blow.

The instructions on how to build are unclear, but once you figure it out, it's really quite simple. Once I built it, the product is nice and sturdy, and it now holds a large and heavy printer. My only complaint is that it's too big and doesn't give me much leg room placed under my desk. But that's my fault for not carefully estimating the size before I purchased. Overall good product.
