I ordered the green cardomom because I couldn't find the sun-bleached, rounder kind that you might find in an American grocery store. I wanted that light, delicate scent for experiments in making sachets and perhaps even scented oil. I knew these had a different appearance, but at first I was disappointed in the scent. I ground a few in a coffee grinder, and got a slightly grainy powder. Still not impressed with the scent, I mixed in some mineral oil. This changed the scent to something I'd never experienced before, and the oil absorbed the scent. I now use this scented oil on my hands. Unfortunately, it is not long-lasting, so not good for perfumed lotion. I look forward to using this cardamom in cooking, as well as including it in sachets and teas. I'm really very glad I got it, and will purchase more.

old, dry and brown, will not buy these again, there are plenty of other sellers which fresher products.
