Do not buy this if you've never tasted it and are looking for a cure for digestion issues. In India, Hajmola is a treat with the helpful side effect of aiding digestion, but it's an extremely acquired taste. If you've ever had black salt (kala namak), that will tell you something about what this tastes like - it's very salty and sulphuric. This is not a pill you can swallow, you have to suck on it, so if the sound of it is nauseating, look for something else. (In my experience, I've never had a non-Indian friend who liked it).

For those who know and love Hajmola, I found the shipping fast and the bottle and tablets intact.

I really like the taste of it, so I ordered it. But after opening the package I checked the expiry date and it was already expired. It was manufactured 2 years ago and they shipped an expired product.

I like Hajmola. I've been eating them since I was a little kid. I don't think they actually help me with digestion, but that's probably because I've eaten so many over the years.
