5.0 out of 5 stars Major bang for your buck, August 26, 2007
By MJ (Richmond, VA) - See all my reviews
Upgrade several servers with these processors. Amazingly fast and they run cool. Was an AMD fan but these Quad-core processors put me back on the Intel team.

4.0 out of 5 stars Can't connect the fan to motherborad., May 13, 2007
The CPU comes with an active fan, to be connected to motherboard using 4 pin cable.
while all available sockets are used on the motherboard.
I have failed to find a right cable: ether a Y 4 pin fan cable or a special cable connecting directly to power.
Or I'm thinking of using a passif metal cooling stuff to not use the fan.
