I actually bought 3 pairs of these socks. The first pair fit my husband and he really likes them. The second pair I bought for my young adult son and I ordered by the size chart but they were way too big for him. The third pair I also bought for my son, got a different size and these fit. However after just 2 months of wear they started to thin on the bottom. This morning he showed them to me and he had a big hole in the bottom of each one. They had only been washed a few times in cold water and not dried in the dryer. For the price I would have expected them to last longer. The ones that fell apart were red - don't know why they were defective but the charcoal and black ones are still ok.

I purchased these for my problem cold feet. They were roomy enough for my wide feet & plenty warm. The problem is within 9 weeks they were worn out. Now mind you I am NOT a person who logs a lot of miles in a day around the house, in fact I bought them for my recooperation after a surgery. So you KNOW I didn't walk around too much. They just wore out in the heal area mostly from wearing them in bed. I was disappointed because they they did the trick as far as being warm, but for the price I paid I expected a LOT more life out of them.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY (FootSmart). This company only put half of my address on the shipping label so it took 3x longer to reach me. Not only did it skip every other line of the address, they used only my first name (making it even harder to find it's final destination). I tried to contact them several times, but I got no response. The product was supposed to be a Christmas present, but I ended up giving it well after the new year. I would never recommend using this company for anything, especially after reading other reviews that mention the bad customer service. All I wanted was an email response to acknowledge the mistake, perhaps with an explanation, and I got nothing from them. The product itself was fine, but there are other more deserving companies to give your money to. I would give a negative 5 stars for customer service if I could.
