Very Quiet, Excellent Cleaning, Our 4th Frigidaire, September 9, 2007
Updated December 10, 2007. We moved a few times and each time inherited another dishwasher brand, usually a GE or Whirlpool. Each time, we come back to the Frigidaire, usually a lower model, however, with such a positive experience decided to go with their high end. Update: since this was originally written, we've had three units fail due to the electronics. All happened within 30 days with the same problem, so warranty was a life-saver, however it is annoying and disappointing.
Pro:
-Excellent cleaning power, loads that took two or more tries with our old GE model are done in one with this one
-Redesigned upper rack provides more space (eliminated the center water diffuser)
-Redesign also improved design of fold-away holders on the upper rack improving the capacity/handling of small dishes in the top rack
-Lastly, redesign also improved our ability to close the dishwashing detergent lid... fixed issue with prior models when pouring extra detergent into the smaller detergent compartment. Older models had a tendency to jam the lid so that it would not close/seal, this was fixed
-All buttons are hidden, only a small digital display to let you know how far along your wash is
-Allows sanitize and high temp wash at one time, a feature that our GE unit blocked/didn't allow
-Options to save energy, like top rack wash only are nice
-We swear the Gallery series not only cleans better but the design allows you to effectively hold more dishes
-Very, very quiet. Run it anytime and it won't ruin your party.
-"Standard size" should fit nicely where your last dishwasher was
-Sleek look and handle is very appealing
-The bottom area under the lower rack is very open and flat so that it's easier to see small, light items that have fallen there. An oversized drain screen ensures good drainage too!
Con:
-The bottom section is black, would have preferred it also be stainless
-Quality of the electronics is lacking
Bottom line: Not recommended until design/manufacturing flaw fixed. Note that quality issues have surfaced since this review was originally posted, and Amazon does not allow you to edit the "star" rating. We it had repaired twice and completely replaced once and finally forced to get a refund and we bought another brand. All things considered, new rating is "1 or 2 stars".

Good and bad, February 11, 2008
As dishwashers go, this one does a reasonable job washing dishes. Good points:
--It's quiet
--It has some useful adjustments on the racks if you want to fit in large dishes
Mine has had two bad points:
--Within a few weeks of buying it, it would stop with an error code on the front. This would happen at various points in the cycle.
--When I called customer server they really couldn't help much and, in cases were a bit gruff.
For what it's worth, I asked the repairman who came what he thought of Frigidaire dishwashers. His comments weren't positive. When I mentioned that I had planned to buy a Whirlpool he said he thought that that might have been a better choice.

Which is worse, Frigidaire products or Frigidaire customer service?, June 14, 2009
I bought this dishwasher 1 year ago. It was noisy, belched steam, and overflowed with foam regularly. While still under warranty, the electronic control panel went out 3 times (a $230 part). Finally, our repairman refused to fix it because the cost of parts was now more than we'd paid for the unit. He told us to call Frigidaire to get it replaced. (Note: the 800 number is a recording giving you a toll number. The toll number keeps you on hold for at least 20 minutes each call.) Frigidaire refused to replace it because 1) it was still repairable, 2) we hadn't gotten two opinions from other repairmen, 3) they hadn't been advised of the problem by the repairman. Each time I'd call, they told me my problem had to be reviewed by their Complaints Department, and they would call me back after 48 hours. They never called back. Each time I would call back after 3 or 4 days, and would have to start the claim process all over again with a new representative because they "lost" the paperwork every time. After 5 weeks of arguing over the phone, demand letters, and consultation with my attorney, they finally agreed to replace it. Fortunately the dealer, US Appliance, gave us a refund, and we bought a Whirlpool. The only thing worse than Frigidaire dishwashers is Frigidaire Customer Service. (Honestly, "Frigidaire" and "service" in the same sentence is an oxymoron!)
