3.0 out of 5 stars Great little thermostat, but I 'zapped' it, January 9, 2008
I had this thermostat for a little over a year and it worked great, no complaints. However, last week I was getting ready to go out for the evening and decided I would turn the heat down (using the temporary setting) and when I touched the 'down' button a large spark from static electricity fried the thermostat. It could no longer read the temperature of the room. A faulty design in the grounding circuitry?...maybe. I replaced it with a Lux which I like a lot.
