The kit starts with a tabletop docking station that cradles your Xpress at an easy-to-access angle, along with an AC power adapter that powers and charges your Xpress while you listen. The weather-resistant home antenna, meanwhile, comes with a 21-foot cable, so you can install the antenna on an outdoor windowsill to receive the best possible reception. Finally, the kit's RCA audio cables run from the docking station's output to one of the unused inputs on your home stereo receiver. Wanted to use my XM at home, and this fit the bill. Easy to set up and install, working in 5 minutes! Great bargain!

Works perfectly. The signal with this antenna seems stronger then the antenna that came with the radio. I have this unit at my desk at work, no where near a window, and it gets pretty good reception. I'm thinking about getting one for my house too.

This item worked well for a couple of weeks before the AUDIO OUT receptacle stopped producing a signal. The radio still received power, and the radio received a signal from the antenna, and the audio cable worked when tested with other devices. I returned the cradle to Audiovox since the source of the problem is apparently the AUDIO OUT receptacle on that component. I quickly received a cradle back from Audiovox (probably the same unit that I sent to them, but I didn't note the serial number). Once again, the radio received power and a good signal, but no AUDIO OUT signal was produced from the cradle. I sent the entire kit back to Audiovox and after waiting for a couple of weeks, I called to ask about the status. Right off the bat, I received a lecture that they wouldn't continue to send me new components since their testing showed that the item worked. I was told that my radio could be the problem and that any future returns should include my radio in order to fully test the problem. The person I spoke with couldn't A) confirm that their testing included the AUDIO OUT receptacle, and B) explain how it is that my potentially flawed radio works fine when using other cradles. I was holding off on reviewing this product until I received this second replacement, thinking that I will ultimately receive a unit that I'm happy with. After this recent customer service experience, I wish I hadn't made this purchase.
