I foolishly ignored another reviewer's comment that this was not wide enough. I assumed it would be the same size as the wooden one by the same company, but it's not. It measures 1 3/8" wide and 1/4" thick. We had to duck tape metal extensions to each end or it fell out of the slot; not sure it will hold up. A waste of $30.

Item works fine however they're only 2/3 as wide as the hardwood bows I used previously, so I had to get different sockets. Would've been nice if the description included the width. Also, the bow was not shipped with rubber end covers mentioned in the description.

good quality but picture is decieving,they should show or advrtise single bow only not three...... I can purchase locally the same item for 15$ plus tax each,thats why i thought it would be a good deal for three of them....i would shop around.I cant see paying that high amount of money for just one.

I've been using this type of bow for 4 years now, and I'm really pleased with the performance. They are far and away better than the wood cover bows I've used in the past. They're very springy and do not "take the bend" and lose their spring, becoming useless like the wooden ones do.

I see that some other reviewers say they are flimsy or too narrow, but I've found them to work perfectly on my boat. The boat is only 65" wide, and I had to shorten the 84" length somewhat, so I can't say how they would work at full length on a wider boat.

The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is this: Because they are fiberglass, you will need to sand them with fine sandpaper to avoid getting the all but invisible fiberglass slivers you'll get when you handle them. If you need to cut them, use some work gloves to handle them until they are sanded. I don't feel that I should need to put that much effort into a new product I buy in order to use it. I do recommend them in spite of that.

A recommended improvement to the product would be supplying closed rubber end caps instead of ones that are open on both ends. With the ones supplied, the ends of the bow do mar the finish of the boat.

I originally had fiberglass cover supports that were a third wider and 1/16 inch thicker making them much stiffer and stronger . these are a cheap lower quality product that is of little use for supporting heavier covers with the longer model supports . Much to expensive for such an inferior product .

Too flimsey. Not like the white ones I used before. Too thin and too narrow. The rubber ends won`t stay on the bows.If you can find thw white ones, I would not get these again.It does show 3 in the picture, but they are sold seperate.

I love em...expensive, but work perfectly with no center bar to tear cover...excellent quality....I used wood bows for years and often had them collapse under the weight of winter snow or heavy rain...these fiberglass bows seem quite a bit stronger....
