if you use these more than a few times this brand has a tendency to split around the coupler. I called the factory on this, and all they could say is they would send me a free set. I don't buy them any more. I asked them, "Shouldn't I be able to use this a few times, at least?"

These definitely removed the moisture between my pancake air compressor and my paint gun. However, the plastic threads stripped on both filters. I installed the filters just below my paint gun, and I probably put some pressure on them while reaching with the gun.

Now I'm back on Amazon to buy a more robust filter with metal threads.

With my portable compressor, this is the only trap I use. In a few years I have never had a problem spraying Solvent Borne paints with an HVLP gun.
Drain your compressor every day, and these will last quite a while.
