With a 5-cubic-foot capacity, this manual-defrost chest freezer provides additional storage space for extra groceries. The unit comes equipped with adjustable temperature control, a power-on light, and a top-lifting door with a built-in handle for ease of use. A StorMor lift-out basket comes included, offering convenient storage for easy access to most small frozen items or items that are most frequently used. When 1/4- to 1/2-inch of frost has accumulated, remove all frozen-food items and defrost and clean the freezer. A defrost drain at the base of the unit makes it simple to drain the water. After defrosting, wash inside surfaces with warm water and baking soda. Removable parts and the cabinet exterior can be cleaned with warm water and mild liquid detergent. Rinse and wipe all surfaces dry with a clean soft cloth. UL-rated for household use, the chest freezer measures 23-1/4 by 27 by 34-1/4 inches (55-5/16 inches with the lid open) and carries a one-year warranty.

Beautifully quiet operation, thank goodness cause we had no room in our tiny kitchen so we had to put it in a corner of the dining room. We live in an apartment and the landlord doesn't allow for us to buy our own refrigerator, but we needed the extra freezer space for meat, ice and vegetables. This is perfect, quiet and not bad looking. Its easy to move so that we can clean the floors. Great product, I'd recommend it.

I ordered this small chest freezer as I needed more space to keep frozen produce and baked goods. I like to buy things on sale so can store them until ready to use in this freezer. I also do a lot of baking and sending goodie boxes to my family as birthday gifts. This freezer always had things ready for me to make up a box to send or take a tray of goodies to my many meetings. Just an excellent little chest freezer and I love it.
