If you are considering buying these envelopes as heavy-duty mailers, as I did, be aware that the bottom flap on the back side is not glued securely along its entire length, leaving loose tabs at either end that could be caught and torn in postal sorting machinery. You may need to apply some tape to the flap to keep it flush with the envelope, before mailing.

I use these to ship small items I sell on Amazon under the seller Tennis Advantage 360. As someone else mentioned, the glue on the flaps doesn't go all the way across, so in shipping the corners can potentially get caught in mail sorters. I use shipping labels that come 2 to a 8.5x11" sheet, so the 5.5" label helps secure the flaps in place if you position it correctly.

I had to return one of the two boxes I ordered since all of the envelopes were sealed. And, the box we are using, the glue at the bottom part of the envelope creaps up into the envelope portion, making it smaller than it supposed to be. Very poor workmanship.
